Farini

The municipality of Farini lies on both sides of the River Nure and includes a number of smaller villages and hamlets, mostly of mediaeval origin, panoramically situated at different altitudes above the valley, ideal holiday places, and excellent for trekking, mountain bikes, cycling and horse-riding trails.

The Municipality of Farini was erected only in 1867, and in 1980 changed its name from Farini d’Olmo to Farini. Its history is reflected in the modern buildings of the town of Farini.
